Glossary
Pickling: Pickling is a preservation technique in which ingredients are soaked in vinegar and sugar or salt for an extended period of time. The process can be sped up by thinly slicing the ingredients, allowing the vinegar to soak through more quickly.
Cooking Tip
Store any remaining pickled onions in the vinegar refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 1 week. The longer the sit, the more sour they will become!
